As Stratham Tire of Brentwood NH enters its 50th year, the company plans to celebrate by helping New Hampshire and Maine better prepare for and enjoy winter.
Stratham Tire, a prevalent tire retailer in New Hampshire and Maine has recently announced reaching the company’s 50th year in business while simultaneously applying their years of experience to help keep New Hampshire and Maine drivers safe in this winter’s slippery conditions.
Despite an economy that’s become increasingly difficult to succeed in, Denise Littlefield, Stratham Tire’s Operations Manager, was proud to explain that “Stratham Tire continues to thrive in our 50th year.” With tire and auto service centers across New Hampshire and Maine, Littlefield explains that the company is more than prepared to keep New Hampshire and Maine safe in 2012.
In 1961, Lionel “Nelly” Labonte opened a Sunoco Gas Station in Stratham, NH. Soon after in 1962 he expanded and began selling tires, eventually transforming into “Stratham Sunoco & Tire Incorporated”. Years later, with much more technology, a wider range of services, and another slight name change, Littlefield explains that “Stratham Tire continued to evolve and grow into who we are today. We now operate with over 180 employees, multiple stores across two states, and a wholesale location in Vermont.”
Littlefield continues, “Our 50th anniversary couldn’t come at a better time. With the early October snow storm that affected our entire service area and winter quickly on its way, what better time to demonstrate our 50 years of experience than by helping our customers prepare for some of the most difficult driving conditions in the country?” To do that, Littlefield says the company will take full advantage of their experience and their inventory of winter tires for New Hampshire and Maine.
To help drivers in New Hampshire and Maine adequately prepare for a slick winter, Littlefield explains that Stratham Tire offers a number of winter tire changeover services for cars and trucks of all sizes. She says, “our ASE certified technicians know which questions to ask and how to use all the tools at their disposal to make sure every customer gets the winter tires and the service they need.”
As the company enters its 50th year in a critical season for business, Littlefield says “We’re all very confident that Stratham Tire is better prepared than ever to keep New Hampshire and Maine safe throughout the winter, 2012, and beyond.”
